My name is Jonathan Clay Poplin and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose business name is Clay Poplin LCSW LLC and clients refer to me as "Clay".

I have over a quarter of a century of experience providing Individual, Family and Couples counseling and therapy to Adults, Adolescents and Children. I have a Bachelor's Degree, in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, graduating in 1993 from the University of Arkansas At Little Rock. I am currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad array of clients in a Generalist approach, adjusting the therapeutic approach to the needs of my clients. My practice is located in Cameron, Missouri.

In the two decades plus of clinical practice I have worked in a variety of settings including Clinical Director of multiple Mental Health Centers in 3 States, providing clinical services, teaching and supervising a variety of clinical therapists and clinical interns in methods of effective practice and providing consultation on difficult clinical cases.

I work to practice healthy living and my experiences as a husband, father and grandfather have provided me important insights and life lessons which leave most my client's feeling comfortable in our work together. Most clients feel I can empathize with them versus feeling judged as we work together.
